Claire joined ForestEthics in August 2011, having spent three years in development at The Cathedral of Christ the Light, where she and her team managed the growth of a multi-million dollar campaign. Claire came to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008 from her hometown of London, England, via a year in Australia. Politics and social justice issues have been a passion for Claire since obtaining her B.A. at University of Manchester. She’s happy to have been able to volunteer since 2009 with Peace Action West, a non-profit working for smarter American approaches to global problems.
Having been raised with a love of the “great outdoors”, Claire travels extensively, a result of which is a strong conviction in the necessity of preserving the world’s beautiful natural spaces and combating climate change.
